Bennington College, a liberal arts college in Vermont, is renowned for its unique literary legacy, 12 Pulitzer Prize winners, 3 U.S. poet laureates, 4 MacArthur Geniuses, innumerable New York Times bestsellers. Bennington is proudly hosting an annual literary competition for high school students!
Participants can choose to submit a literary work from the following categories: 1. Poetry - A collection of 3 poems 2. Fiction – A 1,500-word max short story or one-act play 3. Nonfiction – A 1,500-word max personal or academic essay
For your information, each work submission should be original and sponsored by a high school teacher. The competition, moreover, annually takes place from September 01 to November 01. Check out here to find out about the competition in great detail.
