J&B Red Program (UK-Undergraduate)A Passion for Film in a UCAS Admissions Packet Highlights: J&B worked with the client to create a UCAS Personal Statement, academic resume, a letter of academic inquiry, and a letter of mitigating circumstances for the University of Warwick, King’s College London, Durham University, and University College London, where the client planned to study film, visual arts and film, and media. The client expressed a deep passion for film and film theory, which J&B incorporated into their admissions packet by highlighting the key elements of their independent work and award-winning film projects. J&B worked with the client’s Personal Statement in a six-step process and completed their academic resume in a three-step process. Both letters were a one-step process. J&B worked with the client, sharing feedback over Zoom while exchanging detailed notes to guide the writing process. At the end of the project, the client was extremely proud of their admission packet. As the client experienced personal issues impacting their previous academic performance, J&B gathered materials from the client’s school counselor to better express the client’s challenges in their letter of mitigating circumstances. The Process:J&B split the client’s UCAS Personal Statement into a six-step process, reviewing the client’s written details of their filmmaking experiences and incorporating them into a concise and informative 4000-charactor essay.
