J&B Red Program (US-Undergraduate)“Philosophy, Education, and Undergraduate Admissions Essays” Highlights: J&B worked with the client on an admissions project to Yale, Stanford, Harvard, Princeton, Columbia, Brown, Dartmouth, Swarthmore, Duke, Vanderbilt, Northwestern, Washington University, UCLA, UC Berkely, UC San Diego, University of Southern California, Georgetown, University of Virginia, Emory, Boston College, and Grinnell College. J&B collaborated with the client to express their multiple interests in philosophy, law, and education. J&B utilized the client’s civic-centered focus on education and philosophy to guide their personal narratives, creating over fifty 35 to 650-word essays tailored for each of the client’s desired programs. J&B split the process into a series of three-step projects, working back and forth with the client to revise drafts until the client was satisfied with a final draft that met the word count and specific requirements for each essay prompt. Case:The client worked closely with J&B on an undergraduate admissions project to the following top-tier schools: Yale, Stanford, Harvard, Princeton, Columbia, Brown, Dartmouth, Swarthmore, Duke, Vanderbilt, Northwestern, Washington University, UCLA, UC Berkely, UC San Diego, University of Southern California, Georgetown, University of Virginia, Emory, Boston College, and Grinnell College. J&B guided the client throughout the admission process, curating a Common App and over fifty supplementary essays that met each school’s requirements. With their goals of studying philosophy, education, and law, J&B tailored the client’s application to convey their passion for interactive, interdisciplinary learning. Background:As the client displayed a strong background in education, debate, and philosophy, J&B was careful to capture the client’s diversity by drawing from experiential narratives and the client’s own philosophical theories. The client’s personal narrative and desire to improve public education policies via philosophical enrichment played a crucial role in guiding the civic-oriented nature of the client’s essays. Throughout the process, J&B tailored each essay to meet the client’s varying majors for each desired program. The Process:J&B split the client's list of schools into a series of three-step projects. For each step, J&B communicated with the client over Zoom, exchanging feedback and gathering the client’s insights to revise each draft. J&B worked with the client to produce over fifty 35 to 650-word essays, editing and revising the client’s personal narratives until the client felt satisfied with the final result. After each essay was complete, J&B reviewed the client’s final step of edits to ensure that the client met the word count and requirements for each essay prompt. J&B scheduled the project so that the client was able to submit their supplementary essays in a timely, organized fashion.
