J&B Red Program (Scholarship Application)“A Potential Coolidge Scholar Prepares for College” Highlights: J&B assisted the client with four required essay prompts for their C Scholarship application. The J&B team worked closely with the client to highlight the client’s academic excellence, interest in public policy, and appreciation forC’s values in their supplemental essays. J&B worked in a three-person team and split the project into six steps including: brainstorming, outlining, draft writing, and editing. Case:J&B assisted the client with four required essay prompts for their C Scholarship application ranging from 100 to 600 words. Background:As the C Scholarship looks for students who demonstrate academic excellence, have an interest in public policy, and an appreciation for C’s values, the J&B team worked closely with the client to highlight the necessary qualities in their supplemental essays. The Process:J&B worked in a three-person team and split the project into six steps. At the start of the project, J&B met with the client to brainstorm ideas for their essay prompts. Next, the team shared four detailed, mini-outlines for their supplemental essays based on the client’s ideas. The client utilized J&B’s outlines to create the first drafts of his prompts, which the team reviewed, edited, and returned to the client with in-depth revisions. After the client shared their second drafts, the team polished the client’s final drafts so that they met J&B’s quality standards.
