J&B Blue Program (ISSCY)“A Unique Humanities Project Published by ISSCY” Highlights: J&B worked with the client to prepare are *00-word research proposal and a 2,*00-word research paper which was published by ISSCY. The client will work with J&B to expand their research into a 4,000 to 6,000-word paper. In a two-person team, J&B split the project into six steps and helped the client edit and revise their research paper proposal as well as their research project. The team provided the client with thirty scholarly sources to help develop their ideas. To highlight the client’s culturally analytical approach, the J&B team helped the client smoothly introduce their case studies, while also assisting the client with their abstract, paraphrasing, and citations. The Topic:J&B helped the client produce a *00-word research proposal and a 2,*00-word research paper for the ISSCY Competition. The client’s research paper was published by ISSCY. The client plans to further develop their paper as part of an independent study project with J&B. The Process:J&B worked in a two-person team and split the project into six steps. At the start of the project, J&B helped the client select a topic that aligned with their interests, and produced a research paper proposal outline for the client for their chosen topic. The client developed a draft of their research paper proposal, which J&B polished and formatted, and was accepted by ISSCY. J&B then provided the client with a detailed outline for the entirety of their research paper, including thirty scholarly sources to help the client develop their claims and analyses. After the client produced their research paper draft, the J&B team edited and revised it accordingly to clarify the client’s key ideas. Writing Style:As the client is a descriptive, analytical writer with an interest in cultural reflection, J&B tailored their outlines to suit the client’s approach. The client voiced that they were interested in smoothly linking their three case studies together, which J&B helped the client accomplish with a series of sample sentences. In the later stages of the project, J&B helped the client revise their abstract to highlight the most relevant content from their study. The J&B team also guided the client with paraphrasing and properly citing their sources, after they voiced that this was a significant challenge for them. At the end of the project, the client was highly satisfied with their final draft. J&B’s Key Goals: Detailed research Clarity Collaboration Analysis Journal Selection Process:After working on several projects with the client, the J&B team learned that the client has a strong interest in the humanities. As the ISSCY Competition has a wide variety of fields open to submissions, particularly in the humanities, the J&B team recommended the competition to the client. The ISSCY’s open topic suggestion allowed the client to select a unique topic specifically tailored to their interests, which contributed to the quality of their research paper. Given that ISSCY is a highly selective competition, J&B helped the client select and fine-tune three original case studies to engage in a culturally relevant, reflective analysis that made her research paper publishable by ISSCY’s high standards. As the client is in their senior year of high school, to help the client prepare for college, J&B will work with them on identifying areas of the paper to expand into a 4,000 to 6,000-word research project.
