J&B Red Program (Cover Letter)“A Writer Portfolio For a Future Sociologist” Highlights: The J&B team helped the client prepare a cover letter and select five of their best works for their writing portfolio, which they submitted along with their college applications. J&B carefully reviewed the client’s work and assisted them in identifying key ideas that connected all of their essays. As the client hopes to major in sociology in college, the team advised the client in highlighting key sociological themes throughout their writing portfolio. The Topic:J&B worked with the client to compile five essays and prepare a cover letter for their writing portfolio. The client submitted their writing portfolio as a supplement to their college admissions. The Process:At the start of the project, the J&B team reviewed the client’s essays and selected five of their best works for their writing portfolio. J&B then helped the client identify key ideas that connected all of their essays and express them in a letter format. Throughout the project, J&B carefully reviewed the client’s work and made sure that the client’s unique skills and talents as a writer were clearly expressed in their cover letter. At the end of the project, J&B and the client reviewed the portfolio and cover letter and ensured that it was suitable for submission. Writing Style:As the client is interested in sociology and hopes to pursue it as a major in college, J&B helped the client analyze key sociological ideas in all of their works. Although the client’s essays covered topics ranging from the American justice system to East Asian history, the team assisted the client in highlighting the unique, humane perspective they bring to their work. The team also made sure that the client’s cover letter was as clear, concise, and informative as possible—which helped them stand out to their desired schools.
