J&B worked with the client on brainstorming, topic selection, outlining, draft writing, and editing. To help the client better express their ideas, the team worked with the client on their hook, paraphrasing, and the overall flow of their essay. The Topic:J&B consulted with the client on a 4*0-word op-ed for the New York Times Editorial Contest discussing deforestation. The Process:At the start of the project, the client met with J&B for an intensive brainstorming session. After discussing potential op-ed topics, the team prepared three topic suggestions for the client based on their discussion. After the client selected the prompt that appealed to them the most, J&B shared an outline with the client which they used to prepare their first draft. Next, the client worked on their first draft, which the team edited to help the client write their second draft. J&B edited and polished the client’s second draft so that it met their high-quality standards. To complete the project, J&B produced an evaluation of the client’s writing progress throughout the project.
