J&B Blue Program (ISSCY)“Talking Poverty for ISSCY” Highlights: J&B consulted with the client on a 1,*00-word research paper for ISSCY, exploring poverty and urban spaces. To help the client clearly express their ideas, the team helped the client fine-tune their language, add additional scholarly sources to their paper, and elaborate on key ideas in their claims section. As the client also hoped to test out their hypothesis and gain further knowledge of their topic, the research-oriented nature of ISSCY was an ideal fit for the client. The Topic:J&B consulted with the client on a 1,*00-word research paper for ISSCY, exploring poverty and urban spaces. The Process:At the start of the project, the team met with the client to conduct a pre-consulting session and gather ideas for potential ISSCY topics. Once the client decided on a topic, J&B prepared a detailed outline for the client to help them write the first draft of their research paper. The team then edited the client’s first draft and shared a research proposal outline which the client utilized to create the first draft of their proposal. Finally, J&B polished the client’s research paper proposal and paper to ensure that it was ready for submission to ISSCY. To complete the project, the team shared an evaluation of the client’s writing progress during the project. Writing Style:The client is an analytical writer deeply interested in social inequalities. Moreover, the opportunity to get published in ISSCY was a strong source of motivation for the client, who was hoping to build their academic resume.
