J&B Red Program (Letter of Recommendation)“Recommending A Passionate Entrepreneur With Continued Interest in Top Colleges” Highlights: The J&B team helped the client prepare a letter of recommendation for Cornell, Columbia, Harvard, Brown, UPenn, Stanford, the UCs, MIT, Yale, Princeton, UMichigan, USC, Washington University, and the University of Chicago, and a specialized letter of continued interest for Harvard. J&B consulted with the client and their mother to help her create a letter of recommendation that she could adjust to specific schools but was general enough for each program. The J&B team also engaged in a detailed consulting session with the client to assess their most recent accomplishments and incorporate them into a letter of continued interest. Case:J&B helped the client prepare a letter of recommendation for Cornell, Columbia, Harvard, Brown, UPenn, Stanford, the UCs, MIT, Yale, Princeton, UMichigan, USC, Washington University, and the University of Chicago, as well as a letter of continued interest for Harvard. Background:As the client is an entrepreneur passionate about social justice, the J&B team consulted with the client’s mother to help her develop a letter of recommendation that highlighted the client’s business strengths as well as their humaneness. The team helped the client create a letter template that they could adjust based on specific schools, yet was universal enough to apply generally to each program. J&B also helped the client assess and capture their most recent business projects and accomplishments in a specialized letter of continued interest to Harvard. The Process:At the start of the project, the J&B team consulted with the client and their mother to gather insights into the client’s strong character, their relationship with their family, and events that highlight their unique talents. After helping the client identify which attributes were applicable to their letter of recommendation, the J&B team produced a letter template that they could submit to the client’s chosen schools. Multiple J&B team members edited and polished the letter until it met their quality standards. To assist the client with their letter of continued interest, the J&B team engaged in a thorough consulting session with the client to assess their most relevant endeavors, then helped the client incorporate them into a letter format.
