J&B Blue Program (Concord Review)“Exploring Ancient and Modern History For the Concord Review” Highlights: J&B consulted with the client on a prepare a *,000-word paper for the Concord Review exploring gender and family hierarchies in S. J&B worked in a three-person team and split the project into eight main steps focusing on: brainstorming, topic selection, a lecture, a seminar, and the writing/editing process. As the client was passionate about their topic and interested in key historical details, the team helped the client clarify their main ideas and analyses throughout the editing process. The Topic:J&B helped the client prepare a *,000-word paper for the Concord Review exploring the history of gender and family hierarchies in S. The Process:J&B worked in a three-person team and split the project into eight main steps. At the start of the project, the J&B team met with the client to brainstorm ideas for potential Concord Review topics. After the client expressed an interest in K history, J&B recommended five potential topics for the client based on their desired timeframe. After the client selected their topic, the team prepared a 45-minute lecture for the client and shared scholarly sources to broaden their background knowledge. The team then conducted a seminar session with the client based on the reading materials to get a better sense of the client’s interests/topic knowledge/focus for their paper. Next, J&B prepared a detailed outline for the client which they used to write their paper. The team broke the paper down into smaller sections to help the client focus on each section. After writing the client wrote their introduction, J&B edited and polished it so that the client could move on to the next step. The client then wrote their body paragraphs, which J&B heavily edited and revised. To help the client boost their word count, J&B shared miniature, paragraph outlines for the client embedded in their draft so that they could elaborate on key topics. At the end of the process, J&B edited the client’s conclusion, then returned to complete a final polishing of the entire draft so that the client could submit it to the Concord Review. Writing Style:The client is a detail-oriented writer interested highly passionate about their topic. Throughout the project, the team helped the client paraphrase and clean up their language so that they expressed their analyses as clearly as possible. During the writing stages, J&B and the client communicated back and forth to ensure that they met all of their combined goals. To give the client an opportunity to dive deeply into a topic that addressed all of their interests, J&B recommended the Concord Review. As the client wrote their paper, they were able expand their knowledge of K history, while also relating it to gender inequalities in modern S society.
