Keeping in mind the client’s goals, the J&B team brainstormed to form an editing strategy and identify key areas of the client’s draft that needed elaboration. To boost their analyses, J&B assisted the client with forming a strong, arguable stance in their thesis, incorporating persuasive language into their essay, and discussing the pros and cons of key ideas. The Topic:J&B worked with the client on a 1,*00-word critical essay for Scholastic. The Process:Before beginning the project, the client had already produced a 400-word essay which they hoped to revise and submit to Scholastic. After consulting with J&B, the client decided to submit their essay to Scholastic’s Critical Essay category. Keeping in mind the client’s goals, the J&B team met to brainstorm an editing strategy and identify key areas of the client’s draft that needed elaboration. After the brainstorming session, J&B proceeded to heavily edit and revise the client’s draft, while also assisting them with fully fleshing out key areas of their essay to boost their word count. After completing the client’s final draft, J&B helped the client prepare a 170-word summary of their essay to submit to Scholastic. Writing Style:The client is an eloquent writer able to personally identify with their topic and expand on it using critical analyses. To boost their analyses, the J&B team assisted the client with forming a strong, arguable stance in their thesis, incorporating persuasive language into their essay, and discussing the pros and cons of key ideas.
