J&B Blue Program (HIR)“Technology, Women, and Cybersecurity, Oh My!” Highlights: J&B consulted with the client on a 1,*00-word article for the Harvard International Review (HIR) addressing its theme: “Technological Advancement and the World.” The client’s article was submitted to the “Cybersecurity” category. J&B split the project into a brainstorming session, topic selection phase, lecture, seminar, outlining stage, draft writing, editing/polishing, and an evaluation. As the client is passionate about women’s rights, the team assisted the client with creatively incorporating a discussion of female autonomy into an international, technology-related issue. The Topic:J&B consulted with the client on a 1,*00-word article for the Harvard International Review (HIR) addressing its theme: “Technological Advancement and the World.” The client’s article was submitted to the “Cybersecurity” category. The Process:To begin the project, J&B met with the client to brainstorm potential topics and ideas for HIR. After discussing the client’s interests, the team prepared three topics for the client that creatively addressed themes/issues that mattered to them. Once the client selected their topic, J&B prepared a 40-minute lecture and shared 10 scholarly sources with the client to give them comprehensive background knowledge of their topic. The team then met with the client to discuss the readings in greater detail, in a seminar session. To initiate the writing process, J&B prepared a detailed outline for the client to help them write their draft. After the client shared their draft and goals for it with the team, J&B polished and revised the article so that it would be ready to submit to HIR before the deadline. To complete the project, J&B shared an evaluation of the client’s writing progress during the project. Writing Style:As the client is passionate about women’s rights, the team assisted the client with creatively incorporating a discussion of female autonomy into an international, technology-related issue. J&B worked closely with the client on paraphrasing sources, formatting according to HIR guidelines, and elaborating on key concepts that complicated the client’s discussion of cybersecurity.
