Highlights: J&B worked with the client on a 2,600-word review article for the Journal of Student Research (JSR). As JSR has open-ended topic guidelines, the team believed that the client would be able to select a research topic highly specific to their unique interests and research it in-depth. The Topic: J&B worked with the client on a 2,600-word review article for the Journal of Student Research (JSR). The Process: At the start of the project, the J&B team met with the client to brainstorm potential topics for JSR. After gathering the client’s goals and insights for their article, J&B shared three potential topics with the client that would be suitable for their interests. Once the client confirmed the topic that best represented their research goals, the team shared a detailed, 11-page outline complete with references to help the client write their rough draft. The client utilized J&B’s outline to create their rough draft, which the team then carefully reviewed, edited, polished, and formatted so that it would be ready to submit to JSR. Writing Style: The client is a thoughtful writer passionate about the intersection of the social sciences and gender equality. To ensure that the client’s article captured the complexities of their topic while also conducting a thorough review of existing articles, J&B worked with the client on gathering relevant scholarly sources, creating in-depth analyses, and structuring their review article in a logical and organized manner.
