J&B Red Program (Letter of Continued Interest)“Crafting the Perfect Letter of Continued Interest” Highlights: J&B worked with the client to prepare a letter of continued interest that they could send to their deferred Early Action schools. The J&B team engaged in a detailed consulting session with the client and used their expertise to recommend which of the client’s accomplishments and recent projects to include in their letter. J&B helped the client highlight their continued growth as a social and community activist, as well as a competitive essayist. Case:J&B collaborated with the client to help them prepare a letter of continued interest that they could use for deferred schools. Background:As the client applied Early Action to Brown, UChicago, and MIT, the J&B team consulted with the client to gather recent accomplishments for any letters of continued interest. The team emphasized the client’s social activism, creative writing projects, non-profit work, awards, and submission to the Harvard Economics Essay Contest to highlight their ongoing growth as a writer and community activist. The Process:After engaging in a thorough consulting session with the client, J&B assessed the client’s current strengths and endeavors and used their expertise to recommend which would be best suited to their letter of continued interest. After creating a template for the client, the J&B team carefully edited and polished the client’s letter of continued interest to emphasize aspects of their character and interests that were not covered in their Common App and supplemental essays.
