The Concord Review is a prestigious quarterly journal that publishes outstanding history research papers by high school students. It encourages students to explore a unique historical topic with depth and originality. Though highly selective, the Review offers students a valuable opportunity to grow as researchers and writers by tackling serious academic work. Here are the steps to help you navigate the submission process for The Concord Review. Submission Cycles Essays are accepted on a rolling basis and are considered for four issues of the journal.The submission deadlines for each issue are as follows: August 1st - Winter November 1st - Spring February 1st - Summer May 1st - Fall Step 1: Visit The Concord Review website Link: https://tcr.org/ Click on the “Submit” page in the main navigation bar or in the dropdown menu under “The Concord Review”. (https://tcr.org/submit) Step 2: Complete the Submission Form Scroll down to the bottom of the “Submit” page and complete the submission form. First, select a membership level and click the “Next” button. Next, enter your email and fill out the rest of the required fields on the submission form such as contact information, mailing address, author information, and high school information. Step 3: Submit Your Essay In the “Essay” section of the submission form, please provide details about your essay, including the title, word count, topic, year written, an abstract (up to 3,000 characters), and essay file in MS Word or RTF format. Make sure to review the submission guidelines (https://tcr.org/submit) and double-check your essay file before attaching it. Step 4: Complete Payment Please make sure to complete payment for the membership level you selected. Step 5: Confirm Submission After submitting your essay, a confirmation email will be sent to the email address you provided. Please ensure you receive this email and keep it for your records.
