The 12th grade marks both beginnings and endings: the beginning of a new chapter of your life—college—and the end of your four years of high school. It is a period of completing what you started three years ago and preparing for the four years ahead of you.

Overview
The client aimed to major in Psychology/Public Health in college and planned to study in medical school after graduating from college in the U.S. The J&B team helped the client produce an independent research paper within the client’s chosen fields: health and psychology. Coordinately, J&B polished their final draft so that the paper could be published by ISSCY and the Columbia Science Journal. Based on our expertise, crafting an independent research paper with J&B is a unique opportunity for students to highlight their research and writing skills by adding journal publications to their resumes. As ISSCY and the Columbia Science Journal are highly reputable journals, they showcase students’ writing talents, increasing their chances of getting accepted into elite schools in the U.S. The project lasted from July to December 2021. J&B’s Orange Programs, Independent Study Papers (5,000 words), and Journal Publications (ISSCY, Columbia Science Journal) were prepared and produced by the J&B team. Given the nature of the client’s research topic, ISSCY and the Columbia Science Journal were ideal publication choices for their project. By the time the client was ready to begin their college application essays, their research paper was complete, allowing the client to devote their attention to the supplemental essays for each of their desired schools.

Overview
The client planned to major in Politics/International Studies and had a strong background in writing papers related to diplomacy. Given the strict deadline, the J&B team prioritized two journals: JSR and HIR and completed an independent research paper with the client by building the body of their research. Considering the client's major and the focus of their research paper, the J&B team compiled a list of schools with the client, focusing on research-oriented universities, and strategically completing admissions essays for 10 colleges in the process.

Overview
As the client engaged in a variety of extracurricular activities such as sports, art, and music, J&B worked with the client to weave their activities into an autobiographical format, expressed in text and images. Although the autobiography project was initially structured as a 10-month course, to accommodate the client, J&B reduced the project to a 5-month course which we completed before the client’s regular decision application deadlines. For the client’s autobiography and admissions essays to work together cohesively, the J&B team developed the client’s essays with content elaborated on in the client’s autobiography.

Overview
The client hoped to major in environmental studies and had clear-cut goals for their desired university and specific major, as well as aims of conducting research in their chosen university. After consulting with J&B, the team decided to prepare a series of independent study papers after analyzing the theses and research topics of professors who conducted research in the client’s desired field and school. The team used the state of the client’s dream school as a case study while conducting a literature review based on data published by the state’s local environmental groups. In addition to creating Independent Study Papers, the J&B team emphasized the client’s interest in environmental studies, clearly presenting their focus in the client’s supplemental essays.

Overview
The client planned to apply to college as a computer science major and was less accustomed to writing personal essays. Acknowledging the importance of supplemental essays in the college application process, the client turned to J&B for guidance. As the client had a strong background in computer science, J&B worked with the client to translate their experiences with originality, humor, and enjoyment. Moreover, as colleges and universities are interested in students’ work within the humanities, J&B worked closely with the client to complete supplemental essays for 10 schools to further emphasize their writing skills.
